Rihanna coming to a TV near you!?
That is correct! Rumors have been swirling around this topic for sometime now, but it has been confirmed that not only will Riri be a part of this fashion reality show (searching for the best new up-coming designer) but she will also act as the executive producer for the show.
In the show a group of hot young designers will be picked and put to compete creating outfits for a series of celebrities til the final gown/outfit which will be sported by Rihanna herself in a live concert later in July.
Riri will be sharing the screen with "Girls Aloud" singer Nicola Roberts. The show which has a very similar (to not say identical) setup to project runway will hair exclusively on Sky on Living HD. In case your wondering the show is airing on British television which means, there will be an overload of bootlegging going on if the net pirates have anything to do with it, if not better make some new Bff's across the pond to record the show for you!
Rihanna which herself through out the years has become a fashion Icon herself is very excited to be a part of the show, this is what she had to say about it:
"I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today," Rihanna told Sky Living. "I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage. I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."
